Something higher than a three

Sometimes I don't know how I could keep up being brave and tough. It's hard to keep on moving forward. I will exhale all the pessimism away, just for tonight. And tomorrow, no later than tomorrow, I will do better. Late, yes, but not never.

It was, perhaps, a thought in passing by John, when he stood in front of the class as a professor, and told us to overcome our weaknesses. I wanted to cry right then and there, for I know - a part of me knows - that I have failed to do just that. Succumbing to self-pity and pessimism does not help me become a better person.

The path to the stars was never easy.
