The thing is, sometimes, you don't know who to trust anymore. You're unsure who's telling the truth, and you're unsure whether you are asking for the truth.
It all ends down with people having biases. We all have measuring sticks for credibility. The more we recognize a person never tell lies, the more likely we would believe that person over someone who occasionally fibs.
You can trust a liar to tell lies. And to my measuring stick, you aren't worthy of any trust at all. Stop dragging the people I care for - it was your fault. Point your finger at yourself, irresponsible you.
