My sister had found out one of my pet names for Jet. She asked me what it meant, which was actually just an adjective minus a letter and repeated twice. Like, sweet. Swee swee. Not that we use that.
She laughed!
I kept it to myself when I thought, look who's laughing. And she and her boyfriend calls each other Mhabie. Or Mhabz. Why my sister had learned to fancy adding "h" and substituting "z" for the usual "s", I could always attribute to the ill vernacular language of txttlk - and while that does bother me to a certain extent, I lol'ed harder when she had once explained to me that their pet name was short for "my baby". To those of you ignorant and inexperienced with baptizing your prized possessions with names, "mhabie" is a slang for "my baby"(mabeybi) and "mhabz" for "my babes"(mababes).
Wait, what am I trying to say again? I forgot what my point is. Okay maybe they're more creative than we are.
