Staying in front of the PC is something that can actually be productive. For example, I've written a new chapter for this story I've been creating. Still, all in all, staying in front of my computer has proven to be something unproductive.
My readings are piling up, and I've managed to put them off for a later time. I've spent hours in front of my PC, writing, doodling, and googling. As a result, I now have a Post-It pasted in front of my computer monitor that stays: "Log-off now." A simple reminder that there are far more important things to do than idly clicking around random sites over the net. Also, right beside that Post-It is one that says: "Google something important." Opening up multiple browsers at a time allows me to multi-task my games and forums. Instead of being sidetracked, I could try to look for better sites to go to. The internet is teeming with information that's related to my subject matter.
So yeah, I have a date with Karl Marx tonight. I'll log off early. Maybe I'll log off now.
