My +7 Feather Beret

Earlier, I logged on and peeked at my characters. My boyfriend told me he lost his Feather Beret after an unsuccessful upgrade. It was sad to hear, especially since he bought a pair, and gave the other one to me.

I took my Feather Beret and brought it to Hollengren. After a successful +5 upgrade, I showed it to JCreator, my boyfriend. He kept on bugging me to give it to him, haha.

I told him I was feeling lucky (and I tell you, I really was), and I bought two more Eluniums.
The upgrade to +6 was successful, which caused JCreator to chase me around, requesting me to give the Feather Beret to him. I told him I have to give it one more go, I closed my eyes and turned the speaker off. (I was really nervous lol) And then I rammed on my keyboard to upgrade the Feather Beret.


The upgrade was a success. I was stunned when JCreator told me it was worth around 500m zeny. Haha. He ordered (more like begged) me to give the +7 FB to him, reasoning that I don't have any use for it since I don't play PvP.

After playing a little hard-to-get, I lent him the +7FB, and reminded him that he could keep it for the mean time. I was really happy, no need to join the Hollenghren Peace Offering Event!

With that event, players can trade their +9 Drooping Ninetails for a +8 Feather Beret! I was thinking about joining the event because, from what I heard, it was really hard to upgrade a Feather Beret (I was thinking it may be easier to upgrade the Drooping Ninetails).

No need for that though! With only a +1 difference, I'd rather stick to the +7 Feather Beret than try my luck at upgrading a Drooping Ninetails to +9. Ü
